About Puget Sound AI
Production AI and automation for commercial Microsoft 365 and government GCC. Fixed scope, fixed price. Senior engineering from scope through build.
Why Puget Sound AI exists
Puget Sound AI LLC is an SBA-certified veteran-owned small business (VOSB) that builds production AI and automation inside Microsoft 365. The firm works with two types of clients: commercial organizations on Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise, and government agencies running GCC tenants. Both get the same engineering standards, the same documentation requirements, and the same delivery model. Commercial engagements move faster. GCC engagements carry more compliance overhead. The quality of the work does not change based on the environment.
Most organizations already own Microsoft 365 and use a fraction of it. That gap is not a lack of ambition. It is a shortage of engineers who understand both what the platform can do and how to build inside it correctly. Puget Sound AI closes that gap with systems that run in production, not slideshows about AI transformation.
Who we serve
Professional services firms, healthcare organizations, financial services firms, and mid-market companies on Microsoft 365 Business Premium, E3, or E5. Copilot Studio and Power Automate engineering with a lighter compliance surface area and the same fixed-price delivery model. No procurement vehicle required.
Federal agencies and federal prime contractors operating Microsoft 365 GCC tenants. Engagements are designed inside the FedRAMP boundary with ATO-ready documentation, CMMC alignment where applicable, and zero data leaving the GCC environment. SAM.gov active. SBA-Certified VOSB.
How the firm works
Every engagement is led by senior engineering, from scope through build to handoff. No account managers, no junior hand-off. The expertise you evaluate is the expertise that delivers. For engagements that require additional capacity, the firm teams with qualified subcontractors under written agreement.
Every engagement ends with architecture diagrams, commented source code, operational runbooks, and a staff training session. The client team must be able to operate and extend everything independently after handoff. That is a hard delivery requirement, not an optional add-on.
Delivery standard on every engagement
Architecture diagrams. Version-controlled source. Operational runbook. Staff training session. If the client cannot operate and extend the system without calling us back, the engagement is not complete.
Engineering leadership
The firm is led by a senior Microsoft 365 engineer. Background includes a federal IT engineering role (GS-09) supporting U.S. Army network operations and senior engineering roles in federally funded research. U.S. Navy veteran.
The senior engineering you meet on the scoping call is the senior engineering that delivers the work.
The same standards that meet government compliance requirements apply directly to commercial Microsoft 365 environments. FedRAMP-aligned data handling, audit logging, and least-privilege design are not government-exclusive. They are the default. Commercial organizations on Business Premium, E3, or E5 get the same engineering rigor without the procurement overhead.

Banks, credit unions, and financial firms that answer to regulators. Examiner-ready automation with full audit trails and least-privilege access design.

What defines the work
GCC or commercial M365, every solution is designed for your specific tenant from the start. No generic templates retrofitted to fit. No features that require stepping outside your data boundary.
The work is measured by outcomes: processes that run without manual intervention, documentation that lets client teams operate independently, and systems that hold up under audit.
Mission-first discipline on every engagement. Scope is defined before work starts. Documentation is not optional. Handoffs are complete. No ambiguity about what was delivered.
Defined deliverables, defined price, defined timeline before a single line of code is written. No hourly billing, no scope creep, no mid-engagement adjustments unless you request them.
The firm does not resell Microsoft licenses and carries no partner quota. Every recommendation is about making the licenses you already own work, not about selling you more.
Your team owns the code, the documentation, and the operational knowledge at handoff. No black-box deliverables, no dependency on the firm to keep the system running.
