Course in brief

Copilot Studio for Admins and Builders is a two-day hands-on course for admins and IT teams, run in your own Microsoft 365 tenant. It has a fixed price from $8,500 per session for up to 10 people, delivered remotely or on-site.

What your people leave able to do.

Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, and security admins.

  • Build an agent with knowledge sources, topics, and tools
  • Add actions with agent flows and connectors
  • Set up environments, data policies, and who can publish
  • Read Copilot Credits consumption and forecast a monthly cost
  • Monitor agents with analytics and audit logs
  • Decide when a request needs Copilot Studio and when a simpler agent is enough

Agenda

2 days. Timings flex around your group.

  1. Day 1

    Agents from scratch

Knowledge, instructions, topics, and generative orchestration, built in your environment.

  2. Day 1

    Tools and agent flows

Connectors, agent flows, and Power Automate actions your agent can call.

  3. Day 2

    Environments and governance

Environment strategy, data loss prevention policies, sharing, and publishing controls.

  4. Day 2

    Credits, billing, and monitoring

How agents consume Copilot Credits, capacity packs compared with pay-as-you-go, and analytics.

Before the session

A Power Platform environment to build in (a sandbox is ideal), Copilot Studio access for attendees, and an admin who can assign capacity.

Commercial, GCC, and GCC High

Delivered for commercial, GCC, and GCC High tenants. Connector catalogs and model options differ by cloud; labs use what your environment supports.

What teams build after this course.

The agent your admins build in this course is usually the first of several. Copilot Studio development picks up where the lab ends, with tools, sign-in, and a credit forecast.

Questions about this course

How is Copilot Studio billed?

Copilot Studio usage is measured in Copilot Credits. Commercial organizations buy prepaid capacity packs, pay as they go through an Azure subscription, or combine both. Government clouds have narrower billing options, and the course covers the ones your cloud supports.

Is this course for developers?

It is for Microsoft 365 and Power Platform admins and technical builders. No coding is required, though developers get extra depth on tools and agent flows.

Do we leave with a working agent?

Yes. Each attendee or pair builds an agent on a real use case in your environment and leaves with it, plus the governance settings to keep it there.
