Quick answers

Is Microsoft Copilot available in GCC?

Yes. Microsoft Copilot is available in GCC, GCC High, and DoD as an add-on to government plans such as Microsoft 365 G3 and G5. Features arrive later than in commercial tenants.

Which Copilot do I have?

Everyone with a Microsoft 365 work account has Copilot Chat. People with a Microsoft Copilot license also get Copilot inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Copilot Studio is the tool for building agents and bills in Copilot Credits.

Do I need E5 for Copilot?

No. Microsoft Copilot is an add-on to E3 and E5, and to Business plans. E5 adds security and compliance tools, not Copilot features.

How long does Copilot training take?

A half day for most staff, a full day for power users, and one to two days for admins who will build and govern agents.

Can Claude work with Microsoft 365?

Yes. Claude models run inside Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio when an admin enables Anthropic as a subprocessor in commercial tenants. They are not available to federal GCC, GCC High, or DoD tenants.
