Copilot in SharePoint training for staff
Most Copilot answers come from SharePoint. Staff learn where their files live, how permissions decide what Copilot can see, and how to get answers from a site with SharePoint agents.
Course in brief
Copilot in SharePoint is a half-day hands-on course for all staff, run in your own Microsoft 365 tenant. It has a fixed price from $2,500 per session for up to 15 people, delivered remotely or on-site.

- 2:30
Habits that improve answers
Sharing, versions, and naming habits that make Copilot answers more accurate.
Before the session
Attendees need access to at least one SharePoint site with real team content. Licensed Copilot users get the full lab; others use SharePoint agents where your admins have enabled them.
Commercial, GCC, and GCC High
Delivered for commercial, GCC, and GCC High tenants. Copilot in SharePoint and SharePoint agents are not yet available in GCC High, so GCC High sessions focus on permissions, sharing, and how Copilot answers from SharePoint content.
What teams build after this course.
Most groups find sites shared far wider than anyone intended. Architecture and governance work fixes permissions, labels, and sharing across the tenant, in priority order.
Questions about this course
Why train staff on SharePoint for a Copilot course?
Copilot answers from the files a person can reach, and most of those live in SharePoint and OneDrive. Staff who understand sharing and permissions get better answers and leak less.
Do SharePoint agents cost extra?
Licensed Microsoft Copilot users can use SharePoint agents. In commercial tenants, users without a Copilot license can use them when an admin turns on pay-as-you-go billing. Microsoft documents that option for commercial tenants; government tenants should confirm what their cloud supports before planning around it.
Can this run together with Copilot Essentials?
Yes. Many organizations run Copilot Essentials in the morning and Copilot in SharePoint in the afternoon as one full-day session for the same group.
